Old school hub caps

I want to get a set of OEM hub caps (I've heard them called dog dishes) for my '77 K20 restoration. 16" of course. I can't find any reproductions or new anything. The only ones that I can find used are 15" or in horrible shape and really over priced. Does anyone know of any options that I might not be aware of?

For a 3/4 ton truck, you should be looking for the 6 spoke variant hub caps.

This is the set I sourced for my 2wd truck, but you get the idea....

Good luck. There's no repops on the market that I've found yet and hubcaps are a HOT collectors item now. Alot of people don't even use them on trucks, they just hang them up on the wall. Decent used ones are going ~$100/set now, really nice ones are $250+ it seems

They sell all original hubcaps, center caps and full wheel. They aren't cheap though. Usually $50-$95 each depending on what you're looking for

There are tons of them on eBay. Be prepared to spend money. I have seen NOS on there. The hardest and most expensive ones are for 1 ton truck with Dana 60 front axle. Used ones are a few hundred.

I had the same experience as above. I collected enough for my truck 30 years ago. Bought a couple good ones on ebay 5 years ago. Paid 40-50 bucks a piece for them

Keep searching. I found a couple of nice ones on ebay for $40 and $45 as well.

Search local for sale parts on CL and FB too.
In the PNW at least, there are quite a few out there for sale. And the Chevy 5&6 spoke solid caps like you posted are the most common and reasonably priced. Because there were orders magnitude more produced than other.
4wd front caps are less available. 3 versions for 1/2, 3/4 and 1 tons.
GMC solid 5-6 spoke also harder to come by.
And the older 70s/60s dog dish ones are even more $.

Good news is you need 2 of the easiest to find and 2 of the more difficult. Our K20 has 1 ton front caps because that’s what I found without dropping more $. They’re not “correct” but look ok imo.
Also 5 spoke 1/2 ton are an inch smaller than the 6 spoke which fit all 8 lug trucks.

You could always buy a full set of the 2wd ones and then cut the centers out for the front.
@Maxwellvis did this for his Suburban with some GMT800 stuff to go on the Hummer wheels he has on it currently.
Looks correct enough for 98.74% of the people in the world.

Just used a Dremel tool with a cutoff disk and a sanding drum for the cleanup work.
Took maybe 10-15 minutes to do each front one.

They're just the right amount of "modern" looking for them to look good in my opinion.
The GMC caps finish them off properly, rather than no caps or the terrible H2 caps.

Suburban will eventually be getting a set of 17x9 Procomp Rock Crushers wrapped in Cooper STT Pros (315/70 for now, eventually 37x13.5), as I much prefer those.
I am kinda hoping the GMC caps fit those as well over the ones that come with them.

The wheels are yes, the center caps are off of a GMT800 3/4 or 1 ton pickup.

Stock they have these hideous clip on center caps:

GMT800 caps make them look much better IMO.
I've also seen Dodge guys run them with Ram center caps, also much better.
