Welcome from Moore, America !!!

Show or Speed??? Speed is always first. But you can do both.

thinking a little of both and as odd as it sounds im wanting to make it a 2 wheel drive.. i want it to be clean and just flat out smexy but dust your ass off as well.. but if i go show its gonna be this way:

stock height maybe a 3" lift. Paint it like a high gloss gun metal gray with flat black racing strips. Flat black rock star wheels with some nitto Tera grapplers, then put a roll pan on it with a flip down license plate to hide the hitch. Billet grill, hid's, badass exhaust. Small cowl hood, pull the bench seat swap in two race comfy buckets, grant steering wheel, brushed aluminum interior trim. Sound system and a wood bed floor with a fiberglass cover to keep it hidden till shows... Yes I know a lot of that is pricey but its a long project.

or to go fast as well as showy just a good set of heads, cam setup and put in a 400 and bore it out to a 502 intake, turbo and more still in the process of figuring it out..

hey old77 how much for one of your SWB stickers?

mostly just to see if i can do it and make it work right kinda from the sticks of Oklahoma and everyone wants to make a 2 wheel drive into a 4 so i want to do it backwards plus i have no reason to keep the 4 wheel drive and i cant sell the truck due to sentimental value so i say why not lol... but nothings etched in stone yet still tossing around a bunch of builds for it...

I didn't know it was a 4x4 to start with. There are many 2wd's to be had for cheap before I'd go changing around a 4x4. Can you budget 2 trucks? If so, I'd put the 4x4 together just to be a 4x4. Safe, Sound and Sanitary. Nothing extravagant, but just a clean basic, good running truck. Then I'd find me a 2wd and let the fun begin.

I know it's not popular, but I did it in the past. Some day I hope to have my C20 running pretty good. Noone thinks or wants to make a 3/4 ton go fast. Sure they're heavier, but they are also much stronger. All you have to worry about is building a strong motor and trans. The rest of it's all good to go. Put a locker in the rear end and done. No broke driveshafts, no broke rear ends.
