Hey yall, im Aaron from Georgetown/Bertram area. I just sold my basket case K5 after i moved here and realized a blazer with 3.42 gears and 35" tires and no AC is not a fun drive when you live 30 miles from your place of employ...... Back to the drawing boards....

My 81 c10. Its got 350/350. Cragar SS wheels, and a really straight, problem free body. I need to convert it to 134, abd ill have COLD air conditioning. The cool part.... Everything works! I bpught it from a 72 yo man who bought it new in 1980

Good to have ya back. :waytogo: We have a great group of regulars from GMSB here in town but don't get to meet often. There will be a gathering in the fall though if HotRodPC gets his house sold. Going to hit up the salvage yards for lots of goodies.

Yeah, and from the looks of things, the fellow seemed to know what he was doing, or paid someone who did

First on the list is a new set of valve covers. The current set is tue flimsy stamped steel versions, and it looks like a hold-down or two is upside down this causing warpage, and seepage.

Two things i hate- warpage, and seepage

Anyone had any luck with those fabbed units on ebay for around $60? My gut tells me to be leary of them, like a "too good to be true" feeling, but it seems their reviews are good.

They look nice, they make them for TBI motors?

Also where do you find reviews of that product at?

Yeah, there are some for centerbolt heads. Different seller/manufacturer though. to see reviews, i go to sellers feedback, and click the item number to see if its the same one. Some people outright say something about valve covers in their review, but most are "great seller, awesome product, fast shipping" crap
