Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has converted a non-AC cab to allow mounting of an original AC/heater box? I have the firewall from an 85 truck that had AC (rest of it was rusted out) that I can use to graft onto my 83 non-AC cab. Has anyone done such a graft and could provide some insight into where best to cut, weld, etc.? Thanks for the help!

I would use my 85 firewall to make a cardboard template I could lay over the 83 firewall. I'm betting you could just cut and drill the 83 firewall.

Can it be done? >>> YES <<<

Just go after it. Make it work.

Sometimes ya gotta shoot holes in **** when a drill just can't get the job done.
