So you are obviously aware that the tail and dash lights are on the same circuit. If by replacing the fuse its blowing, then you have a direct short somewhere. Does this happen immediatly or does it take some time? Usually the most common issue when you have a dash/tail light fuse blowing, is when you have a trailer wire connector hooked into your rear lights. One of your splices may be grounding out, or it has become damaged because they sometimes hang down low. I would start check at a trailer light connector if you have one. Next most likley place is in the bulb sockets themselves at the taillights. 3rd most common thing to check would be, if you have added a guage or some accessory that has a dash light going to it, and its spliced into your dash light circuit. Another thing to check, is your ash tray or glove box light. They can sometimes come out of their respective bracket or holder, and then dangle and swing into something metal under the dash. Good Luck. Just be patient and track it down.
