Hey guys,

The situation is this: I installed new heads on my truck and when I did so I removed everything around them. I have since reassembled everything the way I remember it being before but I have no spark. You guys are more familiar with these trucks than I am (I promise) so what could be causing the dizzy to produce no spark. This is an '83 with a 350 and best I can tell, a mechanically advanced distributor. Thanks.

How do I check for this? I connected the distributor via the connector to the harness...

Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the ignition system for an '83 K1500 w/ a 350?

I've been reading some guides on diagnosing a no spark condition but they lose me when they start talking about the ignition coil. I think my distributor is setup differently. I'm going to post some pics here of what I have.

Maybe this will help. Check for positive 12 volts with the ignition on at the terminal labeled battery.
