the pump is getting power. new fuel filter. if fuel pump, how hard to change?
TBI pump usually means dropping the gas tank,never did an ASTRO so how hard it is to drop the tank I can't tell you. I can tell you things I have encountered on other cars,so you can look for them Exhaust keeping tank from being able to drop,rear differential being in the way,so you have to drop the rear end,emergency brake cables run under the tank,without sufficient slack to move them to drop the tank. Get underneath and look. Once the tank is down changing the pump is easy. Some cars some guys have some cheater hacks that I have never resorted to,but someone is going to mention them. 1 is cutting an access hole so you can get to the top of the tank without dropping it,another is scabbing in an external pump. I don't like,use or recommend those tactics,but it's not my car,not my money.
