Those headers are a great deal at that price! Just do yourself a favor and sand them down and re-paint with Ceramic exhaust paint before you install them. Otherwise its rusty header city in about three months!

I think I might get a set of those headers.

79.00 is not bad, I have to fix a leaky manifold and this seems like an affordable solution. Have they stayed sealed around the flanges for ya?

I used the Jegs house brand headers on my crate motor and I got the Dead soft gaskets that come in three pieces per side which helped immensely with the install. The best thing I did was spend the money on Percy's split lock header bolts in stainless steel, they haven't moved a millimeter since I put the engine in!

I used dynomax headers from O'Reillys but I shoulda spent the extra money and gotten the ceramic headers so that it'd look better under the hood. That's something that'll get replaced again in the future to shiney it up under there a little bit.

yes. the trick is to use exhaust manifold gaskets and not header gaskets. i keep Fel Pro 9275Bs on hand at all times. i almost always end up pulling the headers loose for one reason or another before they really need replaced. i just tighten mine once a week for a couple weeks after installing and driving it. have had a couple burn outs, but nothing like a header gasket.
