I think the TH400 was more of a bigblock option, or coupled to the 400 smallblock. So what's your plans for it? Powerhouse or gas sipper? Highway machine for just a local biway cruiser?

Not sure, really just want to fix it up to look nice and drive it when I want too.

With the 4barrell, intake and headers I think I'm good on power for now. So really I think I'm going to try to get it running good and just cruise it around town and to the hardware store when we need to get bigger stuff. Maybe take it through the mud a little just to have fun sometimes.

Ok, looked at the transfer case and matched it up to pics and I know for sure its a NP205. Is that good or bad?

That's great! Not fulltime, not chain drive, direct gear-to-gear drive, strongest t-case you can have in these trucks.

It's not that bad ! Prolly spend 1000- 1500 for VE injection pump engine and tranny combo . Then prolly 1000 for crossmember and other nik backs . It's not that bad of a swap . I did mine on a budget in about 6 months . Didn't take to long . There's a couple forms on how to donut it seems like alot of work but ! It's pretty easy
