New to Chevys

Hey all. Name is Randy. I recently traded my beat up 97 Dakota 3.9L RWD for a 78 K10. Loving the truck so far. Came here looking for similar rides and info.

When I got the truck I was told, and shown from underneath, that the rear right wheel cylinder was missing. When I got the truck home and pulled the wheel and drum there was NOTHING! I have all the parts except for one and I can't find it anywhere. It's the lever that attaches to the secondary shoe and the parking brake cable. Once I find that she'll be road worthy.

I'll post pics as soon as I get it out of the garage. Here's to hoping I can get one from a junk yard since NONE of the auto parts stores can even order it and I can't find one online.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hope to be an active part of the community.

Welcome! I got a heap of 12-bolt brake parts off my '78, all levers, springs, rods, cables, etc even new-ish drums, if ya cant find what you need locally let me know!

Man, you might be a life saver! What I need it the passenger side bar that connected the secondary shoe to the parking brake cable. Went to 4 local parts stores (NAPA, Autozone, Advanced, and a huge local store) with no luck at all. If you have one I'd GREATLY appreciate it and be in your debt (within reason, HAHA).
