New member, have a 76 shortbox C10 . The original stepside box was crusty so I turned it into a cool storage unit in my shop. Has anyone ever put a 90's box on a squarebody and if so how does it look?

Short stepsides are the bomb. Find or build one. The new ones look hokey.

Welcome from Maryland. And don’t do it. Keep looking and a bed will turn up.

this one is the best i've seen someone do, and prob cause they took the time to shave the stupid steps behind the wheels. ifin it was my truck i would also tin over the stock taillights and hang a set of old school lights off the fenders...

Not sure if this is better or worse on this 67-72. The lines on the body seem to match up with the height of the step so...eh?

If it's any consolation I put a SB GM long bed on my 70''s Dodge pickup.

Well ****…guess what my vote is? Lol
Was just up by you last weekend.
Look, this is the best part of the country for original rust free trucks and parts. Go find an original bed. They’re not that rare and not that expensive. Nice one is probably a grand.
I’ll keep my eyes out for one too. Parts for these trucks show up everywhere.
Although you do have a coveted truck so a nice bed is goin to be more than a long bed fleetside.
