I have a big IR compressor and air tools (Kobalt and IR) and battery powered Milwaukee M18. For heavy stuff, I use the Kobalt air tool as it is powerful and compact, to get in smaller places. IF you go with battery powered. Make sure all your battery stuff is one battery type, or you will end up with all sorts of chargers and batteries. You do also need at least 2 batteries so one can be ready in the charger when you are using the other.

RIDGID 18volt 1/2”impact, the tool itself has a lifetime warranty and the batteries also, you just have to register on the Ridgid website, I have used them before and they do stand by their warranty FWIW

As I’ve posted elsewhere, the kobalt 24v 1/2” impact is where I landed and I have been super happy with the performance. I did have to buy a new battery last year, but the dang thing just keeps going. I don’t use it every day, but when I need it it’s always been enough.
