Hello,
I just joined today, I just bought a 1986 C10 short bed step side, that needs a little work as they all do. I bought it from a out of my state dealer sight unseen, that was a mistake. It's not as nice as the pictures look but it's a one owner. I have the original title proving that and it had a clean Autocheck with a high score. I'm not sure about the mileage it shows around 4,300 so it may be 104,300 but who knows except for the original owner. It needs the cab repainted, it was repainted in the past but done poorly or cheaply. The wooden bed needs replacing eventually, but it should be a nice truck with a little or a lot of work done to it. The body looks pretty much rust free as far as I can tell. Sorry for the long post, I'm sure I'll have some questions or comments in the near future. This is my fourth Chevy pickup and I always preferred the Chevy or GMC brand over other makes. I also had a 1970 El Camino with a 4 speed Hurst and a 396ci when I was a senior in high school, I guess that's a truck, lol.
