New guy from Louisiana. I picked up a 1983 back in the spring. Owned quite a few in the past but my projects for the last 10 years have been Camaros. Wanted to get back into the square body- C10 world. Looking forward to adding this forum to my daily list of sites.

A couple of additional pics. I swapped out the bumper and went with a different wheel/tire combo. More updates coming. Ole Red has a ZZ4 crate with a built TH350. It was the prior owners shop truck. Lives in East Texas. He owned a parts business, scrap yard. Sold those now just does cattle and has two cars he races in different classes in NHRA.

That's on the northwest side of Houston (for those who don't know) ....I was kinda out that way yesterday, in Cypress. A friend out there was helping me with some stuff on my DD. I live in the Astrodome area, right off Loop 610. Worked all over the greater Houston area though....
