Hey guys, I'm new to the online forums. I have my dads 1978 C-10 that I will start restoring slowly. I drove this truck to the same High School senior year, just like my father years before, truly amazing. I'm not made of money so most of my stuff is hand-built or salvage parts. We were getting a bigger burnout from my Moms 72 350 Corvette. We knew this 454 was tired. What we found was a flat cam, the wrong pushrods, and valves that probably never saw any lift.

Tell me what you think.

LOL I saw what was going to happen at the end way before I got there, from experience! Love time lapse videos, if I had one of me and pop when we rebuilt my engine there would be a lot of standing around telling jokes and drinking coffee.
