Same as scrap here, but car bodies generaly go for more. Why?? I don't know cuz you know they also have seats, glass and crap like that, which are not even metal.

Were required to have a bill of sale or title before they will take it. Also gas tanks must have 6in hole in them. Just easier for me to take dang thing to my junkyard and part it for all that trouble for $300 bucks.

True, we have to title or notarized bill of sale too. Why I don't know? They don't check the VIN. Just so long as you have a title to give them to be a junk title, then all good. For you, you're right. But I can't have dismantled vehicles here, and my dads is so far out, people won't drive that far to see parts, and I don't want to drive that far to meet them, so I do it here or not at all. I do have most people meet me at the shop though, and I can dismantle there, but I never know how quick the parts will turn before I can put another one in a bay. My Burb is in the shop now, so I only have 1 open bay for dismantling. I could bring the Burb back home though. That's an idea I hadn't thought of now. Now that I have the Title 42 paperwork done and can work on it.
