Hello. Just bought my first bow tie last week. I have always been a Ford Mustang man, and still am to this day, but love the square bodied GM trucks. She is a 1981 C10 Silverado in excellent original condition with 122,000 miles on the 350 and auto transmission with 3.43 rear. I was surprised that it drove like a Cadillac on the highway. Just put in new valve cover gaskets, and had her inspected. The only thing I can say negative about the vehicle, is the placement of the distributor. In the back of the engine?

Welcome. You'll eventually get used to the distributor being in the proper location. Lol.
