New from South Texas

This seems to be a preety cool site. My son and I are building a 83 GMC High SIerra 4x4. WEe have built this thing from the ground up. Just about everything mechanical is new. No its not OEM, but its new. We have 4" Pro Comp ift and 33" Pro Comp mud terrains. We rebuilt a 350 and bored it 30 over. put a serpetine belt system on the truck. MSD distibutor and wires, Comp cam, timing chain, and lifters. Edlebrock intake and a Holey 670 Street avenger carb. The body is getting painted now and it wil be gun metal grey. This had been 3 years in the making. My son is lucky becasue he is getting the truck I always wanted and couldnt afford, but he has put alot of his own, money and time into the truck. Sorry about the long post and I will put ap photos as soon as I figure it out.

How did you get that bumper to fit, you had to mod it right? The web site says on fits 73-80?

The bumper actually fits pretty well. I only have the top bolts in. I can't fit the bumper until I get the body on and center everything. The bolt holes on the side of the from will probably have to be elongated to fit. When I spoke to Iron Bull, they told me it would be close and that I should probably have to modify it so I knew before I bought it.
