Hello All. My name is Kevin and I have spent a bunch of time with Jeeps and have always wanted to get into a GM K series truck. I decided to start looking about a month ago and the pic included is what I came up with. It has some dents here and there but thats what I wanted. Mechanically it is solid. This site seemed to be the best resource for these trucks and I hope to learn a ton.

Howdy! What are your plans for the truck?

Clean it right now. The previous owner smoked in it and never cleaned it. I know I'll put a motor on a stand and start some sort of mild build as it has a 305 from a 3rd gen F-body right now. I know Im set on a 4" spring lift with a 35" tire. Also want to make my steering system as strong as possible. And if this is anything like my old Jeep hobby, it will never end. I'm absolutely not doing any body work unless it with a tree. I like it just how it looks now.
