Just got a 75 chevy longbed 4x4 for my sr project. Im going to restore the body do some performance things, lift it and put in a 383 in a year or 2. Need some input on the paint.

Nice truck! You don't see them very often with the upper body trim only. Looks like the interior sheetmetal is still blue, I'd probably go with a nice shade of metallic blue on the outside too.

the original paint was that blue with the white stripe down the middle. would have gotten better pictures but the carb is off. There is rust on every fender, Anyone know where to get good patch pannels for the rear and fenders for the front? i dont really like blue any other sugestions? i want to stick with lighter colors since im not perfect at body work.

Silver would be my second pick. You can get patch panels from a resto company like LMC, or buy them from a local aftermarket body panel supplier.
