- Both have 350sbc
Just bought a 1979 Chevy k20, dropped a new 350sbc in it I rebuilt. The trans is a 3 speed with low gear, and the clutch is non hydrolic so its all linkage. The clutch was brand new I installed, on a new flyweel.
The problem is the clutch when I push the pedal does not seem to really engage, the fork only moves maybe a half inch when pedal is pushed and then the cab actually moves as the clutch is pushed.
The gears grind and do not go into gear because the clutch doesn't seem to engage. The linkage is tight, I honestly do not know where to start diagnosing. If anyone has any ideas or advise would be greatly appreciated.
