Very nice, from Norcal. Question hydro boost brakes? If so which brand and year master?

Nice truck, I am just finishing up my 83 k10 stepside. New 475 hp gen 6, new 700r4 Holley sniper 2 efi ,Holley mid mount accessory drive, Dakota digital, Vintage air. Frame off restoration I painted it and did interior as well. I left firewall stock.
Sounds like a great build. Very similar to mine.

Welcome and beautiful build ! Some undercarriage pics would rock, I love taking mental notes of nice builds ! Also is that firewall aftermarket or something you built ?
Sure I can see if I have some undercarriage pics and post them up. Its the stock firewall, I just welded up all the holes and smoothed everything out.

The motor came from a 98 chevy so I ordered a 98 power steering pump to fit the front bracket, and also a hydro & master cylinder from the same year so it would all match. The steering gearbox is a Borgeson quick ratio and although everything works fine, I think the PS pump is slightly underpowered. It struggles to steer the 35" tires while parked on pavement. I'm going to try a PSC SP1404 pump. They are higher volume & pressure so hopefully that will fix it.

Thank you for the response, I'm running A LM7 which has hydoboost Steering pump and I'm not sure it produces enough vacuum for the old style master. So I was looking for ideas for replacement. That setup with my existing pump should fit the bill!

Sure, the master was FVP NM3011 (from rockauto). I believe it is a 1.25 bore.

I can't find the part number for the hydro, but just so you know it wasn't quite a bolt-on fit. The factory studs were a bit too short so I remember having to drill them out and put longer grade 8 bolts in, and a plate like this to index the hydro unit.

Actually I posted a video that would give you some pretty good undercarriage views. Hope video links are allowed here:
