need 6.2 diesel starter bracket

View media item 9226View media item 9226So I need one of these brackets for my 6.2 starter, it's the older style for the direct drive starter. I have found them on ebay for an arm and a leg, just hoping someone has one for a decent price. I have found the later style ones for $9 or less, just hoping to find something closer to that price if possible...

I have one from an 85 6.2. They are to short for a SBC.

I can't remember having to get a different bracket when I got rid of the Delco. But it's been so long since I've had to change a starter that I don't remember.

So, the moral of the story is that I've never had to change another starter since then. Why don't you do yourself a favor, get the cheaper bracket and invest in the gear-reduction starter instead?
