I’m wanting to reconnect hoses for ac/heat since po said not working and hoses are disconnected along with cruise control. While looking found some things unhooked. The charcoal canister is unhooked, even though where I’m at ,20+ older vehicles don’t need emissions test for inspection, does it need to be hooked up anyway? Also I’m guessing this distributor they put on is the kind I find need the esc stuff plugged up (they had those unplugged).

1) is located on passenger looking down towards starter
2) is this the servo for cruise control
3) does something need to go here
4) ?
5&6) this wire is broken off and I can’t pull it from the other side of the cover, I don’t see it underneath going anywhere, I tried to scratch the wire color but I think it’s black

7) someone said it’s the lock up wires from the trans, where would this dark orange plug plug into,,(it goes down in that direction but so does number 8)
8) this plug also go down towards as mentioned before, but reading other posts this is for the lock up, is there supposed to be a hose connector, there’s one on the other side cut off
9) this bigger hose is cut that comes out of the firewall

I have looked at my sticker for hose hook ups but how can I go by it if some hoses aren’t needed anymore

#4 looks like an oil pressure sender.

woah! Thats a lot of circles!

The first one is the E.F.E.(heat riser) valve that is intended to be attached to the air cleaner snorkel.

the second one is the cruise control. One hose attaches to the carburetor for signal the other at the intake manifold I bet to source vacuum.

i think #3 may have been ESC related, or a possible vacuum source. That is prolly in there to fill the hole. I think the answer is no but that spot can be transmission handy. oughta take it out to see what it looks like. looks like a thermostatic vacuum switch like came from the thermostat housing.

number 4 looks like an oil pressure sender but that makes no sense to be there? not common

I bet #5 was to the smog pump. Is it present?

this is a fun game , one of my favorites!

i don’t recall seeing a smog pump or the pipes that would be on the sides. There’s like welding on the manifold bolts (not sure if that’s cause they’re rusted and maybe leaking at one time), a plug by the thermostat housing and a triangular metal piece bolted on top in front of the distributor sorry it’s dark ,,, more circles though for you lol
