Quick question, I just slid a 6.0 ls into my 90 v30 truck and the oil pan looks suspiciously close to the pumpkin on the Dana 60.

Do I need to swap the oil pan out for a different one?

Dirty Dingo mounts don’t appear to say you have to but they do show pans, the truck will ultimately have a four inch lift in it when done and if that’s the case can the stock pan stay then?

How close is close? If it's a project that won't be driven much/at all until the lift is done, I'd do the lift before you spend anything. Factory pans are deep, but if you won't hit anything with the lift and/or you aren't going to stress it more than going over a speedbump, run it. Otherwise there are a few shallower pan options out there, and if you're concerned that it might make contact with hard wheeling, it's relatively cheap insurance vs trashing an engine on the trail.

No, won't be a problem.

I like to notch the crossmember on a 4x4 though.

With the lift, I wouldn't worry about it. If you want a little piece of mind though, the GM "Muscle Car Swap" pan or the Holley 302-2 will give you more clearance. I've run both

I do know the Holley sells an LS swap specific oil pan for LS square body swaps.

With you going to a 4" lift the ORD engine cross-member will work. $240. I would do that before getting another oil pan. I bought the cross-member, but it will not work with a stock K10. On my K10, I could notch the stock xmember, but the rubber hose that got pinched in between the cross-member and pan during install is still there and working well. I've got Dirty Dingo mounts.

Options: notch or ORD Xmember or the hose lol. Can always switch engine mounts to Teja (engine mounts a bit higher.....which allows for more room for stock AC compressor location).

Read up on it.

grrr.....just saw this. Again read up on it. From ORD at the bottom of the link above:

"For LS swaps using the Dirty Dingo “Slider” motor mounts there may be possible oil pan clearance issues with the stock truck style oil pan. A high clearance pan may be necessary."

My apologies.
