Hey all. Long time reader, first time poster. I am doing a gen iv ls swap for a retired gentleman into his 86 c10. E38 ecu, dbw, cammed/stalled, 6l80e, and now... with ac. Everything is working beautifully but I have some questions regarding wiring. Specifically, I am using the dirty dingo passenger head mount setup with Sanden 508 compressor. Using the factory wiring, I attached a plug and can cycle the compressor clutch on and off. The system is not charged yet, so I have not done this with engine running. I need to know how to have the E38 ecu recognize when ac is on, to cycle the compressor itself, and raise the idle speed accordingly. The cooling fan(s) are on their own standalone harness and relays that are wired to come on with ac power. I just need to know what and where to connect the E38 to control the ac compressor and idle.
