Ep381 with a 87-91 k5 gas tank and sending unit to send the 60 psi to my efi.

I used the Corvette inline pump with the filter mounted before the pump, I should have put a secondary filter after the pump but I've had no issues. I have dual 86 tanks with the standard sending units, going to the standard GM dual tank valve and standard switch on the dash.

I use a walborro 550 mounted on my frame,corvette fuel filter has built in regulator, I am able to still use both tanks with no problems, I have been driving my LS swapped truck for 3 years now and it is dependable, I am going to look into putting pumps on the hangers in the tanks, I just have to come up with a way to switch the return into what ever tank I am using

Does that pump mounted on the rail pull gas from the saddle tank?

it does it pull fuel from the distrubition valve where the tanks tie in at, I used a corvette fuel filter with built in regulator and return line to feed the return back in the valve as well

in the future I want to hang pumps into the tanks, i really like that idea, than if one fails there is a back-up.
and also if I end up with a supercharger it would be nice to have a dedicated E85 tank

I have a single tank.

it should be easier, depending on if your motor has a return from the fuel rail, some LS motors have a return at the fuel rail, some dont.

most carburated trucks should have a return line from the fuel pump

The 5.3 I have does have a return line.

yes you will not have to remove the tank, that pump will bolt to the frame, eariler on in this thread other users listed part #'s for replacement hangers with pumps that will provide 58ish PSI for an LS motor

I think, I am pretty sure the mid-late90's vortec 350 truck motors required the same PSI of fuel pressure the LS motors need, and I am sure that I have read on this forum somewhere tjat those hangers are a direct replacement, but do your homework.

my 1985 fuel gauge is 30-90 ohms, 30 at empty, 90 when full, I imagine yours will be the same
