LS rear main seal leaking

As far as the barbell it is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, spend your money on something else.
I've read enough to convince me to upgrade it while I had it apart. If anything it's gonna help. Would I strip it down just for that no.

Oil level sits above the pan gasket but below the rear main seal

I don’t know if an “upgrade” is worth the cost but a replacement is worth while if you’re pulling the rear cover.

The factory diverters last for hundreds of thousands of miles…

I put a $6 Melling diverter in mine
