Hell yeah!
So many nice ones up here. If you were taking pics of every “I spy a squarebody” truck you see, your phone would run out of memory….
It’s not a total secret anymore though. Car hauler broker guy that I use, just shipped that old Dodge pickup back east and brought my son’s car home from Florida. I asked him how many old cars he sees coming out of the PNW and he said a good % of the hauls out of here are old cars and most of the hauls into this area are people of dealers shipping “normal” vehicles for other reasons.
Luckily it’s far enough away from the rust belt that it keeps the cheapskates away from snatching them up quicker.
Even with newer cars, if I lived in the rust belt again, I’d 100% just buy and ship out an “old” 15-20 year old truck to use as a winter beater. Run er for a few years and sell it rust free before the cancer pokes thru and repeat.
My sister in WI bought a 2012 F150 that I set her up with. From out here, lotsa miles. She couldn’t help but flip it for a healthy profit because even that era are now mostly rust buckets back there.
Trucks like your red Silverado, the few clean ones back there are obviously “summer vehicles” or imported recently. Half of the rest have flintstone pedals and the rust has already eaten past what you can cover with a Bushwacker cut out flare and the rest are junked by now due to rust.
I couldn't live in the midwest just purely for my care of vehicles. It pains me every time I have to go through there lol. It's not hard to find what we're looking for here but EVERYBODY knows squares are hot down here, it's a huge scene here so everybody wants top dollar. 'Burbs are the only thing that are still reasonable priced

Apples to apples burbs are considerably less than pickups here too.
2wd burbs even in good to great condition seem to be almost worth more in parts. Not a demand for them.

Fresh 700r4 TBI, air con works, 6” lift and the interior is decent with the typical worn driver seat. Looks super straight and not beat on or beat up. Nice rig

And an ugly monstrous rear bumper.

I’d love this one. This color combo in a SWB fleetside would fetch 10k more.

Yet even as a cherry looking, great condition 2wd Burb, it apparently won’t even fetch $5800 in 3 months. I gave more for the 77 Big 10 with a body seemingly in much worse condition and only got it because I acted quick.
Burbs are an absolute squarebody bargain if yer into them. Because most squarebody people apparently aren’t.

They’re by far the best deal in town, and if you pick up a 70s version, you get all the cool kid interiors with houndstooth or plaid, etc. and I personally think they have great body lines- if I had the room to park one I’d love to have one even if to have a great old truck to take the family out for camping trips, days at the beach, etc.
