Long term lurker..let me introduce myself

Names Burkee. Northern Virginia native. Currently living in Bealeton and putting work into my 74 Long bed C10.

Always been a vw and Harley guy. Chevys are new to me so excuse me ahead of time for any dumb questions lol I’ll be sure to use the search function first

Bought my truck 7 years ago and literally have put 5 miles on it. Worked on it for a solid 2-3 months before life happened and it got tucked away. 2 custody cases later and a wedding. I’m married and got full custody of both my kids. I finally have the time attention and money to throw at my truck!

It has lived at family and friends houses so I wouldn’t be tempted to sell it to help pay for custody battles and a wedding lol

I feel that in my core! My dad was a Chevy 2 and bug guy lol had a bunch of 67 beetles and a 68 single cab for a while!

My son who is 14 got bit as well. Bought emself a 83 rabbit 4dr this summer. We bought a 97 Jetta GT and swapped everything over. 2 litre Aba 5 speed along with all the obd2 wiring lol

I’m learning to work on my truck is so easy since I’m well versed In working on VW’s and they are 90% ass backwards. Domestics you don’t have to over think!

My son’s 83 rabbits. Also my dad’s last VW. 68 single cab. He loaned it to the local VW dealership to be put on display. It lives a good life there lol

Where in NorCal ya at? I’ve got a bunch of brothers up that way! Few years back me and the wife went to caramel by the sea/Monterray and she surprised me with a day trip to hollister. Got to see where the MC I’m in started lol you likely see us running around up there. Boozefighters MC
