Hi All,
Just finished installing a new windshield in my truck. Everything went great until I got to putting in the lockstrip joint clip at the end. No matter what I did I couldn’t get it to pop in the channel in the rubber, ended up mangling the clip to the point it’s unusable. Is this important? There is a 1/16” gap between the ends of the lockstrip, can I just fill it with black silicone or RTV and call it a day?
