Yep, the ethanol does burn cleaner, but it does burn faster and also hotter. Cali gas is real bad with ethanol or alcohol they put in it. It's probably Gasahol. That **** even smells way different. Had kind of a model glue smell to it IMO.

I built those brackets a couple years ago so I wouldn't have to haul my ski in the back of my truck and have to unhook the trailer at the lake to put it in the water. I have mounts for both sides now that I have 2 stand-ups. If you want more pics of how I did it just let me know

Yeah, that would be great if you could do a little how to on it so I can share it with some other boaters I know.

You can keep the 07, I'll take that 85 for you. I know you don't want to be spending that much on gas for the 85. It's only $3.35 for REAL gas without ethanol here. Ethanol blend was as low as $3.16 where a couple stations were having a price war.

And there is another one of those signs in Cali where Diesel is cheaper than Gas. Diesel 2 is about 20-30 cents more than gas here.

Ha thanks for the offer but I think I'll keep em both for now...might have to start an auction if I ever decide to get rid of the 85, it was definitly hard to find especially in a single rear wheel 4x4 with a manual tranny! Any starting bids? lol
That pic with the gas sign was actually this spring about 2 hours from my home town on the way to Cali, diesel here is about 30 cents more than gas, sitting @about $4.35 these days. And yes it definitly hurts to fill up the ol 85, I try not to let both tanks go empty at the same time!

nice looking truck, you do a custom body lift like homemade? if no then it's 3 inch not 4. Most states any body lift over 3 inches is illegal as well.
