Late model wheels on '85 K10??

Have a project, wanting to custom my 85 k10 with late model Silverado wheels? Cheap? Best way?

Look on Craigslist or talk to some of the local tire shops. Often people get band new tires/wheels and get some credit for leaving their stock tires and wheels at the shop. The shop then sells the used tires/wheels off.

At least the tire shops up here do- as there is a big market for used stock wheels for winter use.

The very late model ones are more expensive... don't know what you are after.

Your front hubs won't fit through the center holes on newer GM wheels.

These are what I'm after, I realize the front hub is my issue. Would I have to get the front wheel hub hole machined as well as the centercap? Or is there an outlet for centercaps for trucks with the hub issue? I'm sure swapping out the front end with late model parts will blow my budget for others things I want to do this truck.

Ideas? Really appreciate all the help.

I suppose if you found a wheel shop with a lathe, they could bore the hole bigger for your lockouts to fit through. They could probably do the same for the center caps.

All four wheels need bored for two reasons. For one, you want to have the ability to rotate, but the rear also needs no fit over the center of the rear axle flange. May need spacers for it to look right also, the newer wheels have more backspacing.
