Jan bought this Sunday from shoestring relatives through marriage. It is a 1991 Long bed single cab, 350 and OD trans, not sure which one. It is very clean, interior is very nice, and a loaded truck: PS, P windows, Cruse, Tilt, A/C is cold, goes down the road at 1200 rpm at around 65 mph. No leaks, engine is CLEAN 82000K miles original. Jan loves the truck, and now we are going to sell her 2018 GMC Sierra with the 6.2 after we get back from Bonneville.

Looks and sounds like you've got two keepers. Jan and the truck too!

Few more. I need to buff the paint, and fix a few scratches, little rust on back bumper, hopefully buff out. No fluid leaks, that's a first.

Nice scores, great looking truck!
I'm sure I will offend some folks by saying this...but in my opinion the GMT 400 trucks are the last truly good ones GM built. The family's had 8 squares over the years (3 pickups, 5 Burbs) and I have currently 2 400s; 99 Burb and 97 Crew Cab. These trucks are like slightly more complicated squares, but once you learn their ways they're great trucks. Of course Dad brought me up right, to have the factory shop manuals for your vehicles, so I do; great diagnostic information in those books.

Agreed. The GMT 800 trucks were good and had a lot of areas that were easier to work on than the quirky GMT 400 trucks, but as a whole, yeah they were truly the last of the really good trucks.
