I bought my bolt kit from LMC. One thing I found out when I went to install my newer bed to my old 78' was that it was bolted down differently. The front four bolts on a 78' bed are closer together than on the newer beds I had to drill 2 new holes in the frame in order to bolt down the newer bed. I'm not exactly sure what year the bed was off of. I do know that it had a galvanized coating. Not sure why they would have switched bolt hole locations.

I epoxy coated the bottom of the bed and painted it. I let that dry then sanded it down with 120 grit and sprayed it with raptor bed liner. I'm not too impressed with the raptor so far. It seams to chip easily.
