I need a Hydraulic Manual Bell Housing. Anyone have one to sell me for my wife’s 79 Shortbox?

I want to switch her truck over from a manual clutch to a hydraulic clutch but am having a hard time finding the bell housing to do it. Anyone have an extra you want to sell so I can make it easier on my lady? Thanks in advance.

Buy a retro fit hydraulic slave for your bell housing, much easier and probably way cheaper. I'll try to find you one. Here's a pic only pic I could find was of a whole kit for a chevelle. Anyway you can get that slave for 60 or 70 bucks and not have to pull the transmission

For the money I'd use dorman CS37815 and make a bracket or a speedway universal push style and make a braket.

Do you already have a hydraulic pedal assembly?

I do not.
Okay things just got more complicated,do you have a plan for pedals? Swapping out pedal assemblies isn't the easiest project. In your shoes I'd be tempted to buy a line slave Master assembly make Master and slave mounts and modify my existing clutch pedal. They make such assemblies I'll try to find an example, the other side of this is I don't know your fabricating skills. I'll be back in a few to put up some pics. Got you some pics this gives you an idea of the brackets you'll need to make and an example of master slave combos. Those brackets are not for your application,IDK if anyone makes them but wouldn't be hard to make.

I can fab ANYTHING out of metal. I have a fully equipped shop just for working with metals. Welders, Drill Presses, Lathe, Grinders, Belt sanders, and a BUNCH of metal working hand tools. Two 240 Air Compressors. One is an 80 Gallon Two Stage and the other is a Single Stage 60 Gallon. I also went to one of the best Autobody Tech Schools in the Nation in the late 80’s.Ran a Weld/Fabricate shop for years. Making or fabricating stuff is no problem. Computers. That’s where I just don’t touch them. Only when it pertains to cars/trucks. I know I will need to fab of make stuff. That’s no worries. I do have a 1986 3+3 1 ton Dually that is a factory manual trans with the hydraulic clutch. I can always use that as my template.

$350 shipped. I just sent a setup to MI and shipping was $60. Talk about sticker shock? You could check ebay, that's the going price when they are available.
