Hey guys my chevy 454. 4 Bolt and is in need for new lifters. I have been doing some research trying to find the best ones to use. What suggestion do you guys have On lifters I should use.

Just make sure they are a product of the USA and you break them in properly.

Like breaking in a new cam. There's several things you do on first startup so they don't fail in a short amount of time.

Maybe I missed it, what's the reason for new lifters?

The engine has been sitting for 3 Years in a garage and when it ran a couple of the springs did not move. So I am going thru the engine getting it prepped and ready for the truck. I am familiar with prepping the cam. But how do you prep the lifters?

If it ran fine before, it should run fine again. The lifters probably just need to pump up after they get oil pressure. Assuming there's no wiped cam lobes.
