Hub Bore on wheels

I am trying to find the correct hub bore for a new set of wheels for my 1977 k10. Does anyone know the bore size? I am guessing that they make reducers for rims of a toyota 106mm to fit???? Thanks for the help!!!

The hub has nothing to do with centering the wheel on an older truck. The lugnuts center the wheel which is why they have a conical seat.

The original wheels are hub-centric.

In all honesty, you really don't need the strength of a hub-centric wheel. There have been millions of trucks running around with aftermarket wheels and no troubles. Those crappy plastic centering rings don't add any strength anyway.

Thanks for the info, read that hub centric was stronger for off-roading. So don't worry about the hub ring and mount them up with centric lugs. What is the proper hub bore size for the wheels on a k10?

BMF wheels

Hey i have a 1986 GMC K-20 and was wondering if anyone has ran a set of BMF wheels on their truck....The reason i ask, is that i was told that i couldnt run these wheels based on the center bore being to small. Just wanted to seee if anyone could educate me any further on these wheels. i was also wondering if anyone has ever heard of altering the center bore of the rim to fit around the hub of the truck.

Try a couple local machinists and see what they have to say. I'd think it would be a simple operation.
