Hit start

Hello all got 74 350 cranks good drives great but when I drive it for long and park it I cannot get it to start back up unless I let it cool down for like 2 hours headers are wrapped new starter it cranks but nothing what you think it could be?

Lots of things it could be. You need to determine if it's losing spark,or if it's fuel related. And with fuel related could be flooding when parked for numerous reasons,could be fuel boiled out of the carb. Next time it happens hold it floored for a minute while cranking it give it a rest but hold tge pedal floored. Does that make it start. Okay dump a tablespoon of fuel down both primary bores. Does it start?

I had tried that last time it wouldn’t start on me I did have to jump the battery after trying soo many times
