Hi All, I'm new to this forum but not new to gm square bodies. My dad bought a '74 Cheyenne C20 on the day that I was born. He gave it to me when I turned 16 with a tired 350 (lost oil pressure after many years of dependable service). I rebuilt the engine myself but spun a rod bearing after just 3 weeks... hey, I was only 15 when I rebuilt it!
Anyways, like a complete fool, I sold the truck cheap and many years down the road, I really regretted selling it. So to right the wrong, I bought a '74 Cheyenne Super K20 in March. I bought it from the original owner and not far from the plant where it was built (Freemont, CA). It is now my project truck, but seems to be a dependable daily driver so far. Plenty of little things to do to it, but it runs well and drives great.
I'm looking forward to learning lots from this forum and hopefully sharing some of what I know (not all that much yet LOL).
Thanks for reading this!
