I have a 86 k10 and the head cracked. It has the 1pc rear main seal 350 and instead of dickin with it I put a 2pc that i had around in it. Turns out they have different bolt patterns. No big deal a buddy had one around for the right price the only catch was it has roughly 3/8 of an inch less metal that the old one. Didnt think it would be that big of a deal but after putting the newish motor in I discovered that it wouldnt fully disengage. My idea was to just lengthen my clutch slave cylinder rod, but im headed off on vacation and figured id ask if anyone else has had this problem and wanted to know what worked for them.
Thanks for any input!!

sounds like you are mismatching parts. we need more info. 3/8 difference in thickness sounds like a external balance flywheel. highdesertranger
