Hello everyone!
I'm new to this forum and have joined the community to learn and share. I have a 1977 Chevrolet k10 Scottsdale, 350/350, Dana 44/GM 12 bolt, 3.73s and I am attempting get it back to a daily driver/fun truck. I'm only the third owner of it, original owner bought it new in California in 77'. The truck spend most of it's time driving back and forth between southern California and south eastern Arizona. My dad bought it around 95' and used it as a ranch and hunting truck. I purchased it from my dad in 01' and used it as a daily driver until 05'. Near as anyone can tell it has around 500k on it, it is the second motor and I know the transmission was rebuilt/modified at some point as well. Since 05' it has been rarely driven and mostly sat in a barn in Arizona. It was broken into by illegals a couple of years ago, they did a number on the wiring and broke the windshield, it was at that point that I decided to have the truck shipped to South Carolina.
Hopefully I can use your experiences and knowledge to help me along the way of getting this truck back into good, daily driver condition.
Thank you!
