Hey all, I’ve been meaning to join one of these forums for years, so… here I am!

I still own the 1981 C10 that my dad bought in 1985. It was always his favorite truck, and it was a big deal that he gave it me.

Over the years, I replaced the original 305 with a 350, and eventually shoved a 454 in there. With 3.08:1 gears and a built lockup TH350, it gets 17 mpg on the highway, and has allllllllll the power a guy could want.

It’s still more fun to drive than newer trucks. I’ll never get rid of it.

I have some old photos buried somewhere, I’ll have to see if I can find them. It’s currently sitting in the garage in a very un-photogenic state. I will certainly post some of the old photos if I find them.
