Bought a clean ‘82 C10 off of a coworker.
I’ve been pestering him to sell it to me for years! He finally caved after his DD PUp was totaled by Mother Nature (hail storm) because he couldn’t get both trucks in his garage.
He sold me his baby. It hadn’t moved in 8 years, but was running.
He bought 1 tire for it and after a 2 mile test run it blew another tire… I may be staying with the too wide tires for the short term.
It’s a 1 family truck. And was resprayed GM quasar blue.
After a rebuild of the carb and swapping out the tanks( and rubber lines) she started right up once I got a good fuel pump for her.
She’s gonna be an off n on project.
I can already tell the wiring is in need, as is the interior.
But, next two steps are rebuild the steering box to keep it from dribbling on the floor as well as tail shaft seal( took 3quarts to get her to full) then a paint shop to touch up a few paint chips that are down to metal.

Thanks. I’ve always preferred a 1978 ford. But I couldn’t pass this up.
Ive.been wanting a project truck that has possibilities… not like the 86 firebird rotting away in my side yard. Cracks in the trans tunnel, rust rot on the a pillar… so much cancer… and a salvage title to boot. That bird is only good for parts.
It may give up its 350 and its TPI intake for this truck, I don’t know yet. One way or another, it’s getting sold soon.

That 350 with Tuned Port Injection would be a good thing in that truck. I've seen a 400 that was TBI, on that forum, that the owner did that swap....it looks factory and runs great.
