heads?

hey guys just a quick question i am re doing the motor in my 84 k10 and i was gonna add some more power in the process i have been debating over buying a set of aluminum pro comp heads or a set of rebuilt lt1 heads which do you guys think would be the better choice thanks guys the truck is also a daily driver. god bless

Everyone has told me that those cheap Pro Comp heads are cheap for a reason... low quality junk.

Early or late model LT1 heads? The early ones are OK if you already have them or can get a good deal on them. Late LT1 heads won't work (the '92-up ones).

Vortec heads are a good choice, but you have to stay with a mild cam and you need an intake with the Vortec bolt pattern.
