One advantage of Tri Y headers, the third Y puts both banks together for a single exhaust, for the cat and muffler required in some states. The cat (catalytic converter) needs to be in the stock location with heat shield. Read Pennsyltucky (ask me how I know) and probably California too.

More low-end and more midrange? You sure about that? I always thought headers gave you mainly more top end.
