I’m trying to put relays for my windows up and down to speed them up but, I’m running into an issue with voltage to the up and down when I press either way on the switch. I get an average of about 1.5 volts on the opposite direction I’m going so it activates both relays. The switches are new and it looks like the previous owner changed the plug that connect to the switches. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not exactly sure what your issue is, 1.5 V should be much less than the minimum needed to activate an automotive relay, usually it's in a range of 5-7 V when it clicks.
