im not sure what up with the cat, the dmv said it passed smog a few years before i owned it so who knows...its coming off as soon as i can decide if im doing headers or not. i found an exhaust system up in marysville for $100 but ill have to stick with stock manifolds, or throw the headers on and look for a shop that can run pipes for cheap

I want to eventually run some headers and duals but try and keep it very quiet somehow. I found some places online that sell fake cats. I might go that route if I go to duals. I just don't want the noise.

John, check on the system I have. It is made by Pype's, the street pro. It has a little growl at idle but is very quiet at cruise.

3 chamber flowmasters are pretty "quite", i like being loud so i usually go with the 2 chamber 40's... fake cats huh? should still pass smog if youre running clean right? or would you be swapping em every time you need smog?

im just happy i found that diesel truck for $400,,, my trucks registered and has new plates,,, now i just need to ummm "swap cabs" ... lol
