im having the same issue, ive had the issue before, then it stopped, and now im having it happen again, and i have no idea what it could be this time

You should ceck the wiring behind and under your distributor. The fuel pump wiring runs to the oil pressure switch back there. Wiring might be chaffing.

i will definately check that 2maro! i was thinking i had a bad ground somwhere

ok so its right behind and under the distributer?

Yes, you will see them going into the oil pressure switch.Check the alternator wiring as well.
