Wiring down into the electrical area under the bed. Hope to drive to Bend Or. to Explorist lifestyle, (they have a YouTube Channel), as we are purchasing the Victron equipment from them. They have a great wiring diagram as well, 10.00 bucks, that we will follow. Son-in-law is an electrical contracture, so will buy wire, etc through him, wholesale.

For anyone that wants to know, here are the components we chose for off grid camping. We purchased from Explorist life in Bend Or, and so far super to deal with.

Last solar panel up all the solar panel wiring is now inside the van. Here is also the battery that’s the heart of the whole situation. Just out of curiosity I measure the voltage off those three solar panels inside the shop and I was getting 90 V at 12.9 A.

Wiring the battery to the Lynx Distribuiter, monitor, shut off switch, chassi ground. Wire is 4-0 big but it is working. There is more to do, but that's for tomorrow. It is smokie from fires around, get so sick of the smoke in summer, kinda ruines it.

It's a mess, and many of the wires will have to be cut and shortened, but waiting on lugs, lug crimper, etc, but everything works. Inverter gives me 120v, shore power is charging the battery, 12V and 120V panels are energized. More to do.

I now have 120 volts off the battery through the inverter. Jan and I plan on finishing the 120 V wiring today, and hopefully have the 12V wiring run as well. Jan bought two sheets of 1/8 birch plywood to finish the side walls of the van, stained them, (they look great,) and ready to fit in the van. Will post pics later today. We have had bad wind, and fires around the county, but gratefully, not around here...

pretty much done with wiring, just one light, and two outlets. need one side board, but that should be easy as it is behind the fridge in an open space. Strip lights are awesome, practical for night time cleanup.

nice to work with A/C, monitor working, inverter, and battery charger working good. Had the A/C running all day, no works like a champ.

our job tomorrow is to finish? the ceiling, I hope it will be straight forward. The wood is cedar, and Jan stained it. Jan also put up the lions share of the ceiling insulation. This van is as good as we can get for quiet and insulated. Hope the work I did earlier on the front makes a difference. Still have the steering stabilizer to install. Soooooo glad this is almost done, as I want to get back on the K20, and the Nova.
